Not JUST sandwich bags.

I have been using these bags for awhile now. They are great. I use them to hold travel supplies (soap, hair wash and conditioner..) to prevent leakage. Of coarse they are perfect for sandwiches, snacks, cookies and more for when my husband and I go on road trips. After use, I rinse them out, air dry and use these bags again. Finally, when they begin to wear or show little holes, I know it is time to put them in recycling.

Good substitute

Are these bags as great or as durable as ziplocks? No. But are they better for our planet? YES! They are worth it. Maybe ziplocks are 25% better but 1000% worse for the environment. These are the only storage food bags I will ever use.

I love these bags! It is true that the bags decompose as described. I found a bag with decomposing vegetables (I know. Gross) underneath other items in back of my veggie drawer. Not only was the veggie’s decomposing but the bags as well.
